2020 Black Label Margaret River Chardonnay
This Chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented in French Oack Barriques. Only native yeasts were used. A lifted bouqet of white peach and orange blosson. lead into sublte flinty notes with a touch of sea spray to complete the complex nose.
There is an abundance of white stone fruit with a soft yet juicy mid palate and a hint of cream on the finish.

Varietal/Vineyards: 100% Chardonnay – Gin Gin clone
Harvested: March 2020
Alc/Vol: 13%
Closure: Stelvin Lux +
Optimal Drinking: A delicious wine to drink young for its primary fruit characters. The wine will gain complexity cellaring up to 5 years.
Season: The 2020 vintage at Capel Vale resulted in cooler temperatures during the spring and summer season. Humid conditions were evident during the ripening stages with light rains. Low yielding fruit led to elegant flavours and good natural acidity.
