This Chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented in French oak barriques. Only native yeasts were used. A lifted bouquet of white peach and orange blossom, lead into subtle flinty notes with a touch of sea spray to complete the complex nose.

Optimal Drinking: A delicious wine to drink young for its primary fruit characters. The wine will gain complexity cellaring up to 5 years.
Season: The 2021 vintage at Capel Vale resulted in cooler temperatures during the Spring and
Summer Season. Humid conditions were evident during the ripening stages with light rains. There was low yielding fruit resulting in elegant flavours and good natural acidity.
