Regional Series
2018 Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon
Has bramble and blue berry bush notes on the nose. A lustrous, soft textural wine with dark fruits of mulberry, black berry and cacao nib on the mid palette, followed by beautiful fine grip tannin that lingers at the finish. This wine is drinking very well right now.
Optimal Drinking: A delicious wine to drink young for its primary fruit characters. The wine will gain complexity and smoothness with cellaring 5 to 8 years.
Season: The 2018 vintage at Capel Vale Wines was a tremendous vintage resulting in lower yields with exceptional quality fruit and high flavour concentration.
Regional Series
2019 Chardonnay
A cooler vintage has given us a more finely boned and delicate Chardonnay than we have made in previous years. Longer than usual barrel maturation and more regular lees stirring has given us flavours of crème brulee, apple strudel and quince. With age hints of almond and hazelnut cream will become more pronounced.
Optimal Drinking: A great wine to drink on release. This wine will gain in complexity with cellaring up to 5 to 7 years.
Regional Series
2018 Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc
Intensely complex collection of sweet and savoury aromas ranging from elder flower, blackcurrant bush, juniper berry and cucumber. An unctuous and layered palate offers flavours of preserved lemon, fresh cucumber and tonic water.

2019 Regional Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
This Western Australian benchmark blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes displays kiwi fruit and lemon grass flavours with hints of bees wax from time spent in French barriques.
Optimal Drinking: A great wine to drink on release.
Season: The 2019 vintage at Capel Vale resulted in cooler temperatures during the Spring and Summer Season. Humid conditions were evident during the ripening stages with light rains. There was low yielding fruit resulting in elegant flavours and good natural acidity.
