This outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon from our Scholar Vineyard in Wilyabrup Margaret River displays distinctive regional characteristics. This wine drinks well on release but will reward those who choose to cellar it with increased smoothness.

The 2020 vintage at Capel Vale Wines was a tremendous vintage resulting in lower yields with exceptional fruit and flavour concentration. Select parcels were crushed and fermented in small format, open top fermenters. Hand plunged twice daily and then pressed off. After 10 months in oak, this wine was filtered and bottled. 

Aroma of cassis, dark cherry, cedary oak and cigar. Is beautifully structured with a fine flowing palate of persistence and loads of fine grained tannins.
