$89.99

This brilliant wine is made from select rows on our Scholar vineyard in Wilyabrup- the heart of Cabernet Sauvignon territory in Margaret River. Following fermentation, the wine has been matured in new and old French oak barriques, producing a world class Cabernet Sauvignon to be savored and enjoyed. Perfumed with aromas of sweet berries, fresh herb and tobacco leaf. A vibrant palate full of blackberry fruits and complexity. Finishes with plush fine grained tannins that will soften with age.

Awards & Reviews

Decanter World Wine Awards 2023 GOLD – 95 points

Medium-deep crimson. Lovely blackcurrant, roasted chestnut, tobacco leaf aromas. Inky deep blackcurrant, blackberry fruits, fine grainy leafy textures and integrated roasted chestnut/vanilla notes. Finishes claret firm with ample dark fruits. Lovely density, volume and vinosity. Should develop well.
95 points // Andrew Caillard Journal 2022

Perfumed aromas of sweet berries, fresh herbs such as lemongrass and citrus peel follow through to a medium body, with firm and medium velvety tannins that have a lemon rind texture. Drink or hold.
